A christening party at Schloss Sigrön, an old castle near Wittenberge in Germany that is now a hotel and campsite, with a banquet hall, chandeliers and a cake table. I drove down, set up the sound, lights and neon sign in the hall and played from lunchtime until late in the evening. Here is the castle, the hall, the setup and a few clips from the day.
About Schloss Sigrön
Schloss Sigrön stands in the small village of Sigrön near Bad Wilsnack in the Prignitz region, surrounded by forest and about 15 km from Wittenberge. It was built around 1910 as a hunting lodge and has had an eventful history; in East German times it was a home for boys. After almost two years of renovation it reopened in 2024, and today it has a restaurant, a café, a hotel and a campsite, and you can even get married at the castle.
The restaurant was something special: old baroque style, very bohemian, in the middle of the forest. I loved it, and I can warmly recommend the place for a party.
