I bring my own sound and lighting system — JBL PartyBox 720 and Club 120 for sound, ADJ Fusion FX Bar 3 for lights — plus a microphone for speeches and for the toastmaster. The setup is scaled to the room and the number of guests.
I arrive at least two and a half hours before the event starts. Setup takes around two hours, so everything is tested and ready before the first guests walk in.
A power outlet near the DJ area and a bit of space for the equipment. We sort out the details beforehand, depending on the venue.
